Our goals
Save for a Change Limited is the result of hard work and determination by its two directors and all of the team to provide a company that not only operates on a commercial level but also gives something back to our community.
Our aim is to help people find better deals on their utilities, saving them money and at the same time offering the opportunity to contribute to making other's lives better.
Who are we?
Alex Whyles
Alex's Background
Alex's background is in customer relations and business support.
He has over 3 years of experience within the Energy comparison industry and is also a member of the GMB and Amnesty International.
Alex's Favourite Charity
Strummerville - being a fan of The Clash and of aspiring musicians, it just makes sense.
Kieran Black
Kieran's Background
Kieran's background is in IT and developing systems, programming and ensuring that these things work a they should do!
He also has 3 years in the energy sector - thats where he met Alex!

Leonard Cheshire Disability - Kieran's uncle was born with Spina Bifida and these guys do amazing work.
What we believe
We strongly believe that everyone needs to do their little 'bit' to make our community a better place, hopefully with this company we are doing 'our bit' and helping others to do the same.
Fed-up with all of the 'fat cat' conglomerates, feeding off of us at every possible opportunity, we set up the company to truly make a difference.
We believe that it is everyone's responsibility to contribute to the world we live in, in a positive and beneficial way. We try and lead by example where we can.
We protect the environment in which we live by trying to showing the benifits of green energy, sourcing out products locally, using substainable products where possible and keeping paperwork to a minimum.
We endeavour to support ethically produced products and services from our work-wear to printing paper to the tea at the directors meetings.
Our organisation is committed to its staff, ensuring that we offer a friendly and welcoming working environment, opportunities to develop and progress and the prospect of a challenge on a daily basis! We strive every day to ensure that our working practices and policies support and reflect our beliefs.
We launch!
After months of hard work Save for a Change Limited was launched in February 2008, with its user friendly, accessible website and competent customer service. The service is completely free and impartial and for every person who uses our service to change energy supplier, a donation is made to the charity of their choice.
How are we 'free' and 'impartial'?
Save for a Change receive a commission from the utility provider for every customer that transfers acrross to them, in the same way that other price comparison sites work. We are not affiliated in any way with any of the utility providers, and endeavour to provide the best cost saving for each person individually. The difference being is we take the money for the switch and try to put it back into worthwhile causes.
Where does my donation go?
Your donation will go to the charity of your choice or if you have not stated a preference we will donate to our charity of the month on your behalf.
Is it just charities you help?
No we also try and help schools, organisations, youth teams etc... If you have a cause you believe worthwhile then email us
